Leg 2 of the all new Sabre 58 Salon Express delivery to Jupiter!

The Sabre 58SE is performing like a rock star on her journey south. Our fresh Down East Yachting delivery crew is on the job for Leg 2. Albeit they are not quite as photogenic as the crew from Leg 1, we can report that they had a great run from NYC to Cape May the first day. We hear they had a wonderful time navigating the Deleware Bay, the C and  D Canal, and the top half of the scenic Chesapeake Bay on the second day. Encouragingly enough, we have some great footage of the crew shoving off just south of Annapolis, MD for her trip down the rest of the Chesapeake Bay today.

They tell us it was 27 degrees this morning so things are still quite chilly aboard Down East Yachting’s Sabre 58SE adventure. But keep following her progress south as she’s bound to find warmer climes soon!

Our Down East Yachting crew for Leg 2 are early risers and they still look cold!

Underway at first light from Herrington Harbor Marina South, just south of Annapolis, MD on the Chesapeake Bay.

You know it’s going to be a great day when the entrance to the Bay looks like this!

Yep! It doesn’t get any better than this!
