Deck hatches and opening ports provide light and ventilation. All have ship shades or screens that slide into perimeter enclosures.
COCKPIT: The cockpit has a number of features that were optional, and others, that with the benefit of time, proved to be the most practical. From the swim platform, one may step over the transom, or go thru the Swim platform door. This door required the boat to have massive reinforcement in the transom, and provides ease for those less mobile.

Flag blue awlgrip paint. Note that the hull still looks nearly like new with few if any scratches. This is due to the boat being stored on a lift, out of the water, and under a covered boathouse, thereby preventing the normal wear from UV light. Double white boot.
Deck paint is Awlgrip moondust nonskid over a white smooth gel coated deck surface. Gelcoat is on trim, waterways, deckhouse and cockpit sides.

WINDSHIELD: Georgia Gals windshield superstructure is made from Burmese old growth teak and some fibreglass reinforcement. It is beautiful varnished with 16 coats of hi gloss, and sets her apart from many other yachts.

Dual Engine controls consist of Yanmar key start panels and separate Engine Display Panels with a full suite of sensors including exhaust gas temp sensor that few possess. Additionally, there are alarms for water temp, oil pressure, RPMs. All have alarms. A Momentary battery parallel switch allows the skipper to activate parallel batteries from the helm
