Queen Bee 2 is an 80’ Hunt Yacht built by a passionate yachtsman for his family and friends to enjoy cruising the East Coast, the Bahamas and ultimately the Mediterranean in comfort, safety, and style. She was labeled a “sport” motoryacht because she features numerous and generous exterior spaces unlike traditional motoryachts.  Her interior harkens back to the Golden Age of yachting with abundant gloss varnished teak, teak and holly soles, and magnificent furnishings and soft goods. The renowned design group C. Raymond Hunt provided an elegant set of lines that exude the classic Down East style. The boat’s Hunt Deep Vee Hull bottom delivers a comfortable, safe, and dry ride in all conditions. While her styling is classical, her creature comforts are every bit modern and complete. The thoughtful layout features an enclosed “command bridge” on the flybridge, leaving additional space on the main deck for a dining area and convertible galley. Below deck, there are 4 cabins(plus two crew cabins), including the full beam (19’6”) master, VIP, guest, and single berth/utility room. She features the latest in sea keeping equipment, Humphree All Speed Fins and Humphree Active Stabilization as well as two Sea Keeper 8000 gyro stabilizers. Queen B II’s draft of only 4’, made possible via Hamilton Water Jet Propulsion, allows her to venture into places boats of her size would never dare.   

• Main Deck and Pilothouse- All cabinets and bulkheads are gloss varnished teak with inset style carpentry. 
• Cabins and passageways- cabinets and bulkheads is a mixture of gloss varnished teak and white fabric panels. These areas have less natural light than the pilothouse and main deck so the white helps the spaces feel brighter and larger.
• Cabin soles throughout are gloss varnished teak and holly
• Overheads throughout, except heads and shower, are white vinyl with foam backing with teak trim
• Cabinet door faces are a mixture of inset style and louvered
• All drawers feature stainless steel push button pulls made by Lowe Hardware in Maine 
• All interior overhead lights are recessed with stainless steel bezel and are dimmable.
• All wall mounted lighting and table mounted lighting is on/off
• Vimar switches for lights throughout
• All windows, with exception of forward pilothouse windows and flybridge forward windos have Bali wood blinds
• All sleeping cabins have opening hull portlights
• All heads feature gloss varnished faces with doors and drawers below the countertops. Above the counter top are white fiberglass panels with vertical routed ship-lap detail

Having a comfortable dining room was important in the overall layout of this boat. Lovely natural light is provided by the forward and side pilothouse windows. The galley is forward of the main salon and to starboard. 

• A large high gloss teak table with holly inlay around the border is the highlight of this space. There is a removable leaf to enlarge for additional guests
• Matching Kingsley and Bates teak director chairs and two leather cube stools provide  seating
• Inset-style amble cabinetry contains custom fit storage for glassware and flatware 
•  Oval shaped teak recessed ceiling directly above table with dimmable lighting. 

The Master Stateroom is wonderful using the full beam (19'6")of the boat. It is reached by going down passageway steps from main deck and then another set of steps leading aft. The gloss varnished teak with inset-style carpentry is mixed with white inset wall paneling and hull ports to make the room feel big and inviting.
